Content overview

The IAFR has been organising DVI training for radiographers in the UK since 2003 with the UK Forensic Radiography Response Team (UKFRRT) deployed to the London Bombings in 2005. This 2-day programme was delivered in Dublin in 2017 and is coming to Melbourne in May 2018.

The workshop will include the DVI process, Interpol protocols, IAFR protocols, mortuary protocols, Witness Document writing, practical exercises (fluoroscopy, radiography, CT and dental radiography), role of imaging in ante-mortem and post-mortem reconciliation, psychological aspects of deployment.
